Meghan and Brittany first came to me for their engagement session wanting something at the beach. They are originally from Georgia, so having something done at the beach was their first idea to add some contrast to their photos. We started our session in Del Mar, at Torrey Pines Beach. It was February, so our original spot on the Torrey Pines cliffs was very windy and cold. It was so windy and cold, that we ended up re shooting our session out at Hidden Oaks in Ramona, California. And let me tell you, I am SO glad we did. Hidden Oaks is GORGEOUS everywhere you look! Also, I was told that it reminded them a lot of back home, which was actually pretty cool in the end. I think we all ended up so happy that the beach was too cold.
Brittany and Meghan’s wedding is set to take place back in their home state so all they needed was engagements. As much as I’m sad that I don’t get to see them on their wedding days, I am so happy I got to spend this time with them. They started as friends, and their incredible foundation began. It took some time before their relationship grew, but one kiss was all it took. Their constant giggling and nuzzling into each other was nothing short of “awww” worthy. I loved watching them just get lost in each other. Brittany was more than happy to have not one, but two opportunities to love all over Meghan. They ended up loving both of their sessions and got quite a few photos from each. I can’t wait to see the photos from their wedding. I wish them all the happiness in the world.
By the way- their session was published in Love Inc. magazine- you can find their article here:
